As true as love could get

I’m a such a sucker for wedding videos. And i’m such a big fan of Jason Magbanua. I follow each new video that he posts on his site. I devour each; dissecting its technicalities, aesthetics, techniques and methods. Often times, I missed out on the couples. After all, that’s the one thing common to all of the videos – two individuals in-love.

Until this video.

The approach was straightforward. Nothing much on flare or fancies (well, except for the 3D view of the rings). The magic and uniqueness of this video is with the couple themselves. No need to exaggerate or emphasize anything. Unique just as they are.

Indeed, as true as love could get.

[Weekend FSS] Noel Cabangon’s Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko

I woke up very late today and I was half expecting to hear the holiday tunes since it’s almost six weeks before Christmas. Instead, the first notes that caught my ears was Noel Cabangon’s Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko. To make it worse, my father was humming it and then a flood of scenes came to me as he often uses it to tease my mother. So I guess that was a clear indicator I was bound to have it playing in my head for the rest of the day, or even two as First Song Syndrome (FSS) usually lasts up to two days for me.

Well anyway, the song is a true classic. Having it stuck in my head I guess is an indicator, too that age is catching up with me.

Flash mob with the Big Bang!

Ok, ok. Oppa Gangnam style is the current hit and Call Me Maybe is so yesterday. But when four geniuses and a hot blond do it, it’s a sure-fire formula to be a hit.

That’s what happens when the cast and crew of my favorite TV series, The Big Bang Theory, scatters to the floor and all together shake their buns to Carley Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe. In just three days from it was uploaded on Youtube, it reached over five million billions. Now that’s really something especially when the consciousness of the general public is still up in the clouds of the Gangnam heaven.

And dear Shelly simply nailed it with his signature Bazinga statement right at the end.

This is couch love.
